Millennium Clinic is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and any relevant Health Privacy Principles under State legislation, as well as other applicable laws and codes affecting your personal information. Our staff are trained to respect your privacy in accordance with our standards, policies and procedures.
Policy statement
Millennium Clinic safeguards its users’ privacy. We do not permit the release of our patient database, in whole or in part, to any outside organisation or agency, for any reason. Distribution of information, in hard and electronic format, is facilitated only to clinical staff within Millennium Clinic itself.
Conditions of use
All email consultations are provided as a guide only; a physical consultation is required to establish fees and other matters relating to any proposed therapies.
Photo and video disclaimer
Before-and-after photographs and video recordings show actual patients who have undergone surgery or therapy with Millennium Clinic. None have been retouched, and all patients who appear have signed consent release forms; no photos are displayed publicly without written consent. Some images are public-domain photos used for informational purposes only and in no way depict future patient results — results differ for each person. The material on this website is for information only; we endeavour to keep it up to date but cannot guarantee its accuracy at all times.
What information do we collect, and why?
We may collect personal information when you submit it to us, send us an email, or complete forms on the website — including your name, contact, billing and delivery details; details and health information supplied by you; and other information supplied in response to direct questions. We only collect health information where you expressly agree to provide it, and we only request and use personal information necessary for the conduct of our business.
Use and disclosure
We may use the personal information you provide to conduct our business with you; manage our relationship with you; notify you about changes to the website, new products, services and offers; carry out our obligations under any contract with you; allow you to participate in interactive features; conduct research; respond to messages; and for any related purpose you would reasonably expect.
If you prefer not to receive promotional information, click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our communications or email an unsubscribe request to solved@millenniumclinic.com.au — requests are actioned within two business days. Millennium Clinic does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
We may disclose your personal information to affiliates, suppliers or sub-contractors to supply information you request or administer programs you have consented to (all such parties must treat your information as confidential); to send you items you order; to enforce the terms of any agreement with you; to protect the rights, property or safety of Millennium Clinic, our users or others; in connection with the sale or purchase of any business or assets; or where we are under a legal duty to disclose. No personal information will be sent outside Australia without your express consent.
Data security
Your personal information is stored securely, and Millennium Clinic takes reasonable precautions to protect it from misuse, loss or unauthorised access.
Express consent
We only collect personal information from individuals who have expressly consented — for example by subscribing to Millennium Clinic. We do not add individuals to our database without their express consent; if you wish to refer a friend, that friend must register themselves.
Amendments
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time; changes will be displayed on this website and will not diminish your level of protection below what the Privacy Act requires. Changes apply only to information received after the amended policy is posted. Please review this page periodically.
